Sochi to conclude resettlement from Olympic facilities construction zone in April 2011

The process of resettling the inhabitants of the zone of Olympic facilities construction in Sochi will be finished in April 2011, the head of the Department of Krasnodar Territory for realization of preparations for the Winter Olympics in Sochi-2014, Larisa Zavefeyeva, told a press-conference on October 20, Yuga.ru reports.


She clarified that there are 7 sites and approximately 100 hectares for housing construction, including 538 individual houses and 608 apartments.


The Adler region is constructing housing on the streets of Tavricheskaya, Vesyoloye-Psou and Urozhaynaya. The first resettlement sites will be ready in November-December. Construction is also ongoing in the Ruchey Maly area, on Fabricius and Krayevogrecheskaya Streets .


The administration is installing all the engineering, transport and social infrastructure for the construction sites, Zavedeyeva concluded.
