Gazprom discusses terms for GDF Suez, EdF to join pipeline projects

The head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, discussed the terms for Frenchcompanies GDF Suez and EdF to take part in the 'Nord Stream' and'South Stream' projects, RIA Novosti reports, citing a statement bythe Russian energy giant.

Construction of Nord Stream is officially opened

Today the Russian company 'Gazprom' officially opened the construction of the pipeline Nord Stream. The pipe will be placed on the bottom of tha Baltic sea. It will start from Vyborg and lead to Greifswald in Germany. Its length will be about 1200 km.
